Ing. Michal Mühlbauer, PhD.

Michal Mühlbauer is one of the founders of the qualified investor fund OM Real Estate Fund SICAV, a.s. and member of its Supervisory Board. He is also Executive of OM Property Holding and one of the founders of the construction consultancy firm OM Consulting as well as the whole OM Group. 

He has many years’ constructions experience both in the Czech Republic and abroad. His international insight serves as a solid foundation for his close work with Czech and foreign investors. 

Prior to founding OM Consulting, the first of the OM Group companies, he had worked on both sides of the aisle – as a project manager on the contractor side and as a senior project manager on the client side. He was involved in projects such as Mrázovka Tunnel, the Clarion Hotel and Congress Centre in Olomouc, Hill’s Pet Nutrition production facilities in the Czech Republic and the US, the Chinoin/Sanofi Aventis pharmaceutical plant, and the construction of the Citroën headquarters (these last two were both in Hungary). 

His studies and work have taken him to France, the US and Hungary. He graduated in Structural and Transportation Engineering at the Department of Structural Mechanics, Faculty of Civil Engineering, Czech Technical University, before earning a doctorate from the Faculty of Civil Engineering at the Czech Technical University and Joseph Fourier University in Grenoble, France. He is fluent in English and French and can get by in Russian and Hungarian.

In his free time, he is a keen musician (playing the piano, the guitar, and the bass guitar), photographer, and athlete. He collects of old music media.

Ing. Ondřej Vala

Ondřej Vala is one of the founders of the qualified investor fund OM Real Estate Fund SICAV, a.s., as well as member of its Supervisory Board. He is also Executive of OM Property Holding and one of the founders of the construction consultancy firm OM Consulting as well as the whole OM Group. 

 

Ondřej Vala has been involved in construction and development since he was a student.He has been a technologist – planning engineer – for a general contractor and, on the client side of the aisle, he has worked as a project manager responsible for the preparation and construction of hotel, administrative, residential and multi-purpose projects.  

During his stint at the development company CPI, he contributed to projects such as CPI City Centre Olomouc, the Clarion Congress Hotel Olomouc, and the Buddha Bar Hotel Prague. 

At Hochtief CZ, he worked on a contract for Ruzyně Airport – Multistorey Car Park D and the hall at Entrance F. 

Ondřej Vala graduated in Business and Management in Construction from the Faculty of Civil Engineering at the Czech Technical University in Prague. He also studied at the Faculty of Management at the University of Economics and Business, Prague, and at the Faculty of Business, Law and the Built Environment at the University of Salford. He is fluent in English and advanced in Russian. 

His interests include table tennis and downhill skiing. He plays the 12-string guitar and collects old coins.

Ing. Pavel Teňak

As CEO of OM Property Services, Pavel Teňak is also a member of the supervisory board of OM Real Estate Fund, the qualified investors fund. 

Pavel Teňak manages OM Property Holding and all its business and development operations. From 2017 to 2020, he was the managing director of the construction consulting company OM Consulting, which is part of the OM Group’s portfolio. 

He has been involved in construction, development, and real estate ever since he was a student – he has been a project manager for a general contractor of construction projects, a senior project manager on the client side, and a consultant for investments, corporate management and acquisitions. The companies he has worked for include Skanska, Strabag, SGS and TÜV Rheinland. 

In his career, he has overseen projects for industrial plants, office buildings, shopping centres, the complete reconstruction of an international operator’s hotel, and residential projects. Specifically, he has been involved in the refurbishment and remodelling of the Hilton Prague hotel, the Quinn Plastic Příbram production plant, the preparation of the River City Prague project, the Nové Butovice Shopping Centre, and Windfarm Cogealac in Romania. 

His time in business management has included eight years at prestigious foreign inspection and certification companies as a division director and regional director for industry. He has also played a role in acquisitions in the industrial sector.

Pavel Teňak holds a degree from Structural and Transportation Engineering at the Steel Structures Department, Czech Technical University. He is fluent in English, German and Russian. 

 

In his free time, he enjoys badminton, swimming, and literature. He is an avid bridge player and is actively involved in the Czech Bridge Association.
